"Society is always taken by surprise at any new example of common sense." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
It seems that my blogging frequency is dropping like my county's employment rate
:D It's been a year and a half since my last post. What can change in 18 months? A lot. I graduated from
high school, switched completely to Linux,
bought a new guitar, spent November in Boston, watched Obama get elected, bought a
netbook(Asus EEE 901), worked for a while, traveled a bit more, managed to get rejected by MIT admissions again, went to a couple of
NSND anti-conferences, had a
desk made, got into
FER, became a member of
KSET and wrote another blog post! I also read a bunch of books, watched a bunch of TV shows and movies, listened to a lot of music :)
Of all the stuff I worked on, here are the things I'd like to single out:
-
diahmap - This is a relatively small script that takes a carefully prepared
Dia diagram and makes a HTML image map for it. I also hacked a plug-in which allows simpler usage with it
DokuWiki. The purpose I had in mind for this was
documenting computer networks.
-
desk - I started designing this desk a
long time ago and finally got around to finishing it. I will dedicate a post or a page on my site to this and all drawings(blueprints) will be released.
Considering everything, you can expect my next post in about 2 years
:D
